About NEIFACV


NEIFACV (North East India Folklore And Cultural Vibes) is a non-government organization whose main purpose is to promote the cultures of North East India. North East India is a homeland of different communities with their rich folklore heritage. Each and every community retains their own tradition, language/dialect, habits, customs, dance, food, material items etc. NEIFACV works on these cultures to preserve in a right way.

Cultural Heritage & Cultural Exchange


Cultural Heritage is an expression of the ways of living developed by a community and passed on from generation to generation. As a part of human activity Cultural Heritage produces tangible representations of the value systems, beliefs, traditions and lifestyles. North East India includes seven states – Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura and Meghalaya. These seven states known as ‘Seven Sister’. The North Eastern region is also host the Himalayan state of Sikkim. Every tribal group of these states has its own unique tribal culture, folk customs, folk dance, food items and material culture. North East Indian people offer a colorful reflection of their land and traditional lifestyle. The Mongoloid faced people of this region are very distinctive in characteristics of dress, customs and languages.

Ethnic Meet


North East India is very rich in folklore and has a rich culture. It has own unique tribal cultures, folk customs, folk dances , food habits and material cultures.To showcase this colorful rich culture in front of people we organize ethnic meet. We try to do cultural exchange in between the different communities of North East India. This way we try to enhance people's interest towards other communities to bring peace and harmony in the society.

NEIFACV organise to visit the North East India as much for the culture, wildlife and nature as you can for experiencing the way people live.
